Membership Management Software

Tuesday, October 30th, 2007

I was looking on the net today for some software to help me control my non-profit Save the Puppies of Paris Hilton Foundation. Its a way to help all those mini-dogs get good homes after being blinded by paparazzi pictures. I found a bunch of crap but one place was very good.

I was looking for an automated system that would free up my time to devote to my worthy cause. I found this great membership management software that tracks and does it all for me. It tracks all the puppy owners and their blind puppies for me now. I get to sit and drink MGD at the pool now with all my free time. It’s great and cheap too.

I also like playing with my dogs in the pool. They do too. They run and jump and swim around chasing their poo in the pool. Why doesn’t that crap just sink? Poodle pool is amazingly bouyant! And they also like to hump the lawn chairs too. It’s quite disgusting but they love it so what can I do. It is still better than doing it to my leg. What more can I say? Life is good now that I don’t have to manage the non-profit blind puppy database web forum 2.0 now.

Affordable retirement communities

Saturday, October 20th, 2007

I like living the good life. By good life I mean the relaxing life, the life without stress. And do you know the number one cause of stress? Of course you do. It’s money. Or lack thereof.

You want a to go somewhere, but finances do not allow it. You want to fix your car, but finances do not allow it. You want, but finances do not allow it.

The solution, as my father said, Spend like you’re poor,  and earn like you mean it.  One way of doing this for elderly Americans is living in one of the many affordable retirement communities.

A lot of people think of retirement communities as places to go and be bored. But the truth is that they are not like that anymore. They are great places to meet new friends and enjoy activities that other seniors enjoy.

Most new retirement communities have hip coffee houses, advanced first aide and health care facilities,  fishing, hiking, boating, and senior dioscos, where unruly teens are hung from the ceiling like pinatas and seniors get to take turns whacking at them with baseball bats.

Super Bowl 2008

Monday, October 15th, 2007

Are you ready to experience what the most anticipated game of the year is all about? Can you handle the excitement of it all? I bet you can, and I bet you already have plans to be there. But make sure you know in advance if you can get tickets this year. Demand is already greater than last year and it looks like a sellout in just a day or so.

If you don’t already have tickets, get your Super Bowl 2008 Tickets here while you can. They are still reasonably priced and located in good sections. Take a look now before you forget. I think it will be worth your time. Now make sure to get some hotel accomadations quickly too. They sell out faster than the tickets some years.

So get prepared to see a great matchup this year. Who knows what will happen. The best games are the upsets and everyone wants to see their team take it this year. Will you be there? You better get going.

I love Baseball

Saturday, October 6th, 2007

I had a very educational night last night. After watching the New York Yankees slaughter the Boston Red Sox in a thrilling baseball match, the Discovery Channel were showing a documentary about Who invented baseball? I’ve always been an avid fan of baseball but I have never really thought about who invented it. Apparently, it has evolved from various bat and ball games but its exact origin is very difficult to trace. It appears that the Brits were first to mention it, but of course the Yanks dispute this.

The first semi-professional league began in the 1860s in the States and in 1869 went full blown pro. I used to play when I was a lot younger but now I just enjoy watching the games either live at the stadium or at home with my friends on my dirty big 52 inch plasma TV. Occassionally, I will get out in the park and have a bit of a hit with my friends but I am so unfit these days that an hour almost kills me. If anyone has any further information about the History of Baseball then please feel free to leave a comment.
