Free online games when I get bored

Sunday, April 27th, 2008

When I get bored watching TV, I check out the new online games that offer some excitement for an hour or two. It’s nice to find some sites that offer new games made by quality designers. Online games are best when there are free since you can try out many to get a better idea of what you like to play. I tend to grab shooting games like arrows or explosions. I don’t know why but free online games are so fun since there are quick to load and play on flash players. Getting high scores is not the point. I play to do things I could not do in real life. Like drive on the sidewalk to shoot a tank. I am pretty dangerous in the games, but I would never consider doing it in real life. If you feel the urge to play a free online game, do a search on google for your favorite arcade game and there is sure to be a few offering free play.

Free to Air Keys for TV

Friday, April 25th, 2008

There are too many ways to watch TV these days. Cable TV is good, but satellite is even cooler. Internet TV is quite powerful considering that anyone can watch it mostly without commercials. There used to be just a handful of channels and it was quite a monopoly of the news system. However, with more channels and new ones every year, people can live in the world of their choosing. I like fishing and now I can live it 24 hours a day. I heard that satellite TV can be troublesome but there are FTA keys that work with your system and can make life easier. You can fix your own minor issues with the right information and now you can get it from a website offering help and ways to correct it. There has got to be a huge market for this since so many millions of people watch TV all the time. TV is a big part of people’s lives these days. Have you ever tried to change the channel when they are watching it?

Personal Injury Attorney in San Francisco

Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008

Watching some of the best TV in the world, nightly news, I see violence and mayhem from street muggings to misguided foreign wars. None of this stuff should be in front of children unless we want to brainwash them into thinking that all this violence is what life is all about. Why can’t we see more of what life really is, or even what life needs to be, more understanding and compassion? Well the short answer is that people don’t sit down to watch it, they only want to indulge in the graphic disturbing news. I did see my attorney on TV though. He was shown helping a couple seek settlement on a car accident. He was voted the best San Francisco Personal Injury Accident Attorney because of his commitment to getting the facts straight and helping the clients get their case won by using honorable tactics and ethics. I wish TV had more ethics like my attorney, we could all use a dose of positive reality more often.

Rubber stamps get my Seal of Approval

Thursday, April 10th, 2008

I used to have a lot more paperwork to do with my businesses before I started doing more on the computer. I had lots of invoices and receipts that had to be approved and date stamped. I used to dread all the paperwork, but now I miss it a little bit. Is that strange? When I opened my desk drawer today, I saw my old rubber stamper that I have used on probably $30,000 worth of orders, what a valuable tool then, if I have used it that much. My favorite rubber stamps and embossing seals got the most use because of all the documents that I was responsible for recording. These tools are undervalued in my opinion, as long as they hold up and keep working. I always use the same online store to buy from too, because I have never broken one of their tools, just needed and extra for new documents. How much money do your tools get to approve? Mouses make lots of money, but they are used for lots of other things, like playing games. Business tools like stamps and seals get my approval for the hard work getting stamped and pounded all day and still making money.

Quality Binoculars

Sunday, April 6th, 2008

I have an unusual family who have all different hobbies and interests. I have a brother-in-law who is a big outdoor sportsman and he loves to hunt and fish. He is ready every spring with new gear and a great interest in spending time outdoors catching things to BBQ. Although I don’t exactly share his enthusiasm, I can understand the passion. He takes pride in his gear, he bought a rifle scope from a website offering high-end sight devices. He showed me the site as a gag for future christmas gifts but I found something I could get for my grandmother. She is an outdoor lover too, just a little more gentle. She loves watching birds and also demands the best type of gear. I bought her a new set of Swarovski Binoculars from a site called sportoptics that specializes in high-end scopes and binoculars.

I think she will be surprised at the quality, but she can also use them for many types of things since they are so powerful, up to 10 times normal vision. They are not cheap, but they are worth it. I also happen to think my brother-in-law may be taking her on an outdoor trip so she can use them. Its all going to be a big surprise for her 80th birthday.

Office chairs to relax in

Tuesday, April 1st, 2008

There is nothing like spending 10 hours a day in front of my computer. Obviously, working for myself has its advantages, I can get up and walk around anytime I wish. I was confined to my office the last time I had a job. I didn’t like it one bit. They also had me on a $20 office chair that didn’t have good padding or even put together properly, hard to do your best work when the conditions are like that. I have two plush leather reclining executive office chairs that I love. I got one online at a site that sells great chairs. It gives me the endurance to work longer and it feels good enough to take a nap in.

I told my friends who work online about my chair and they want one for themselves. I paid $800 for it, but I use it more than my $20,000 car. I told them where to find one and I think one of them already ordered one. My wife sits in the chair to surf the shopping sites and she says she could fall asleep in it. I think that is a benchmark for quality chairs. Offices need comfortable environments to support quality work. That’s my opinion and I’m sticking to it.
